Traversing the World's End

Let the adventure begin.
For a quick weekend outing we visited the World's End conservation area.  This area is a massive park "just" outside Boston which is managed by the Trustee's (http://www.thetrustees.org/places-to-visit/south-shore/worlds-end.html).  After spending nearly an hour traveling the 14 miles from Brookline to Hingham we arrived at the end of a residential street to find a gravel parking lot.

Who would have guessed that there was Fredrick Law Olmstead development-turned-park just a quick jaunt away.  What was even more surprising is that Olmstead opened what is considered the first Landscape Architecture firm less than a mile down the road from my apartment.

Well enough history,  at this park there were rolling fields and sheltered groves of trees.

Following the tree lined field we continued towards the far side of the park.

At the top of the hill we could see Hull and the Cape to the south.

We continued through the park to see shorelines,

and shelter coves.

A little hard to add words to the dynamic scenes available in such a small area.
